A case study in community-driven air quality science, advocacy, and collaborative governance is presented. A framework of multi-stakeholder planning and execution was employed to identify needs and opportunities, propose work, secure funding, and communicate results to a variety of audiences. Research outputs were primarily designed to support community-based capacity building, advocacy and collaborative governance to promote air health in the near-airport environmental justice communities in Boston, MA. © 2021 Owner/Author.
