MPH candidate in Health Equity, Social Justice, and Human Rights
Shaelyn Hawkins (she/her) is a first-year MPH student in the EQUITY concentration. She recently graduated from UCLA where she studied Human Biology and Society, interned at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, and was an undergraduate research assistant for a BioCritical Studies lab. Her interests within public health broadly include looking at racial health disparities and health equity through a social justice and community-centered lens. In her free time, Shaelyn enjoys cooking, being in the sun, and finding new places to eat.
