BSPH in Environmental Health Sciences, 2025
Rhiannon Williams (they/them) is an undergraduate interested in analytical chemistry, environmental health, and environmental justice. They are working on the project “Spidey Sens-r” with the North Carolina Environmental Justice Network (NCEJN) to provide underserved communities with affordable air quality monitoring. Their work is largely in the lab, performing acid digestions and ICP-MS metals analysis. Rhiannon’s career aspiration is to continue research that centers community needs, forwarding environmental justice principles. In their free time they enjoy photography, playing the clarinet, and mending.
