Martha Anne (she/her) is a second-year MPH student at Gillings in the Health Equity, Social Justice, and Human Rights concentration. She has spent time working in Raleigh, NC over the last three years to improve access to healthcare and health literacy. Her focus continues to be in health equity and health access as she currently supports Dr. Danielle Purifoy and the UNC EJ Clinic in their partnership with the SELC and Impacted Communities Against Wood Pellet Mills to create a community health survey. Martha Anne enjoys propagating and tending to her plants, coffee ice cream, and any time spent in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
